• High Speed Rail Working in partnership with other agencies. Young Communications brought information about the importance of California's High Speed Rail Authority to the attention of residents statewide. Young focused on informing the African American community.
  • Legal Aid Foundation This is one of five award-winning annual reports, written by Young Communications and designed by Deanna Kuhlmann, that brought attention to Legal Aid.
  • California Science Center Young Communications wrote this case statement, designed by Doug Oliver Design, that helped raise millions to build the first phase of the California Science Center.
  • Considered for Academy Award Nomination, LA 92 looks at the rebellion using only archival footage. The sixth documentary film for which YCG has created impact and engagement screenings, this film garnered international attention. Impact screenings brought together elected officials, including Congresswoman Karen Bass and former Councilperson Jan Perry. YCG focuses on creating IMPACT screenings for social justice films.
  • ET Comes Home. Continuing its 18-year run with the California Science Center, Young Communications Group coordinated the local and national media for the delivery of the External Tank of the Endeavor. Handling press relations, developing key messages and coordinating major media events are part of the comprehensive services YCG offers clients.
  • Talk. Read. Sing. It changes everything┬« campaign focuses on early childhood development. Young Communications Group developed a model program and partnership with local libraries featuring elected officials, including Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts, Jr. and Assemblymember and Chair of the California Legislative Black Caucus Chris Holden. Called a "model program," this engagement and public education campaign is being implemented throughout California.
  • Homelessness has been called the "civil rights issues of our era," by LA County Board of Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas. Young Communications Group has developed and is implementing a comprehensive marketing, branding and public affairs program for this community clinic that has been providing comprehensive primary and mental health care to people on Skid Row for 23 years.
